Why a dashboard does not close this
Your DCIM tells you the state of a system. It does not teach a technician who joined six weeks ago where the valve is, what sits upstream of it, and what happens on the floor if they close it.
That knowledge currently lives in the head of a senior engineer who is close to retiring, and in an operations and maintenance manual nobody opens.
We are not proposing to replace the alarm list, and we are not proposing that you run a data hall in three dimensions. Steady-state operation belongs on the schematic, where it already works.
The gap is everything either side of that. Getting a new site and new people to competence, proving a procedure was understood before it was executed, and keeping what the build team knew after the build team has gone.
